AVOID BEING BLIND

TEXT: NUMBER 14:1-9.
Eyes that look are many but the ones that see are few. There are physically blind people, sight impaired, which are doing mighty things for God Himself and humanity. Yet there are those with two eyes that are achieving nothing. The question then is; what is vision?

It means insight into purpose, seeing beyond the physical into possibility realm. It means seeing what is possible which has not yet happened. This world belong to visionary.

Who are the visionaries? They are those who can see things before they happen. Those who see possibilities in impossibilities. This is a secret behind success in life. They see what is possible before every other person do and take steps to actualise  it. That is when you become a pacesetter, a record breaker and a point of reference.

Vision propels. When you see what other do not see. You run differently, talk differently, plan differently and move differently. This is because you have seen the possibilities ahead. It propels you, and adds drive to you. It is a divine force.

Vision Emboldens. When you are able to see the bright future ahead even in the face of challenges and obstacles, you will be bold. Fear is as a result of future uncertainties. What you are certain about you do not fear.

Vision delivers. Every program pursue becomes accomplished. Initially it may look difficult and even impossible, but never mind, pursue what you have seen diligently. God never gives vision to crowd; He shows it to a person and that man/woman begins to run and work to make it a reality. Others then join as they see tangible results. ( Habakkuk 2:1-3).

As we are preparing to enter another year, pray for spiritual insight, and pursue your vision very diligently and you will become successful. I pray for you, your long awaited desire will be delivered in Jesus' Name. "Amen".

THE GIFTS OF GOD FOR YOU AT CHRISTMAS

TEXT: ISAIAH 9:6-7
At Christmas, we give gifts to one another. When selecting a gift we consider what the person would like. Of course, we expect the receiver to open the gift we have given to them. This time of the year we also enjoy receiving gifts.

Jesus referred as the gift of God, which leads to eternal life (John 4:10-14). This reminds us that Jesus was the gift to humanity. This gift satisfied our greatest needs. Apostle said, "for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 3:23).

Here's how God offers His gift to us: "it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works so that no one should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). It depends on faith; confessing our sinful condition and recognising that Jesus paid our penalty when He died, enabling us to be reconciled with God. (1 John 1:9). This faith comes from God.

No word can express the extent of God's love. The best description was "God so love the world that He gave His only son, that whosoever believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

God is the greatest giver and Jesus Christ is His greatest gift. Have you accepted this gift? How sad to give and receive gift at Christmas and never to receive the greatest gift of all.
