AVOID BEING BLIND

TEXT: NUMBER 14:1-9.
Eyes that look are many but the ones that see are few. There are physically blind people, sight impaired, which are doing mighty things for God Himself and humanity. Yet there are those with two eyes that are achieving nothing. The question then is; what is vision?

It means insight into purpose, seeing beyond the physical into possibility realm. It means seeing what is possible which has not yet happened. This world belong to visionary.

Who are the visionaries? They are those who can see things before they happen. Those who see possibilities in impossibilities. This is a secret behind success in life. They see what is possible before every other person do and take steps to actualise  it. That is when you become a pacesetter, a record breaker and a point of reference.

Vision propels. When you see what other do not see. You run differently, talk differently, plan differently and move differently. This is because you have seen the possibilities ahead. It propels you, and adds drive to you. It is a divine force.

Vision Emboldens. When you are able to see the bright future ahead even in the face of challenges and obstacles, you will be bold. Fear is as a result of future uncertainties. What you are certain about you do not fear.

Vision delivers. Every program pursue becomes accomplished. Initially it may look difficult and even impossible, but never mind, pursue what you have seen diligently. God never gives vision to crowd; He shows it to a person and that man/woman begins to run and work to make it a reality. Others then join as they see tangible results. ( Habakkuk 2:1-3).

As we are preparing to enter another year, pray for spiritual insight, and pursue your vision very diligently and you will become successful. I pray for you, your long awaited desire will be delivered in Jesus' Name. "Amen".

THE GIFTS OF GOD FOR YOU AT CHRISTMAS

TEXT: ISAIAH 9:6-7
At Christmas, we give gifts to one another. When selecting a gift we consider what the person would like. Of course, we expect the receiver to open the gift we have given to them. This time of the year we also enjoy receiving gifts.

Jesus referred as the gift of God, which leads to eternal life (John 4:10-14). This reminds us that Jesus was the gift to humanity. This gift satisfied our greatest needs. Apostle said, "for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 3:23).

Here's how God offers His gift to us: "it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works so that no one should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). It depends on faith; confessing our sinful condition and recognising that Jesus paid our penalty when He died, enabling us to be reconciled with God. (1 John 1:9). This faith comes from God.

No word can express the extent of God's love. The best description was "God so love the world that He gave His only son, that whosoever believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

God is the greatest giver and Jesus Christ is His greatest gift. Have you accepted this gift? How sad to give and receive gift at Christmas and never to receive the greatest gift of all.

CLEAVE UNTO THE WORD AND PROSPER

Our Lord Jesus declared in John 6:37, "He that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out". Again in James 4:8, it is written, "Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you".

It can equally be said that, if you cleave unto the Lord, He can not forsake. When you cleave unto the Lord in  any condition, come sun shine and rain, you are declaring that you have no other God and no other source of help.

With such people God is well delighted. Is it then any wonder that He will cause such people to prosper?
We serve a great and faithful God, who rewards every act and show of steadfastness and faithfulness. Do not seek to deviate from that which He expect from you. There are many tends to dissuade you from cleaving unto the Lord. Overcome these by constantly reading and seeking to understand the word of God (The Bible).

This Month of November, you will not encounter untimely death, sickness or accident will not be your portion in Jesus' Name. "Amen".

REST IN GOD

TEXT:- Matthew 11:28
Christ Apostolic Church Gospel Hymn 831 "They that trust in the Lord are secured. Though the storm rages dark o'er the sea, for this anchor of promise is sure" .......
The heart is restless until it finds it rest in God. No heart can truly know rest until it finds its rest in God.

The reason is highlighted in the story of creation in Genesis chapter 1. To create fish, the whales and all other creatures inside the ocean, God spoke to the water and they come forth. This is why fish can not survive outside the water, if you dare, move fish out of its natural habitat, it will die.

Man's case was different, according to Genesis 1:26, God spoke to Himself that, "Let us make man in our own image and in our likeness". God created man out of Himself. If man now decides to live independent of God, he will miss purpose. He will malfunction. It is the source of a thing that sustains it.

Man is a direct product of God. If he / she refuses to get connected to his or her source, which is God, he will remain miserable for the rest of his / her life. There is a God shaped vacuum in every human and nothing can fill it perfectly outside God. Many have tried to fill the vacuum with pleasure, comfort work, money etc. But they always end up more miserable. This is because the heart is restless until it find its rest in God. Receive the grace to rest on God. Your life shall never remain the same. God bless you (Amen).

God bless you (Amen).

Appreciating the giver of all

Text: 1 Chronicle 29:10-20
"But who am I and what is my people that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? FOR all things come from you, and of your own we have given you" 1 Chronicle29:14

God our creator, who owns and gives all things, places much value on appreciation. Gen1:1, Psalm 24, John1:1-5, Job 38:4-11.

Harvest Anniversary like this is a time we show our appreciation to God, through what he has given us and all what we are enjoying through his goodness and mercy upon our lives.

Experience God's goodness, express gratitude and expect more grace. Many people are use to counting their problem rather than counting what God has done in their lives.

When you don't appreciate, you are bound to depreciate. You must also note that whenever God does something for you, there is something you must also return to Him. This is appreciation. Our text above teaches us to give God's business, priority. Note that God will place you where you place Him. According to this year's theme for our harvest: KEEP THE FEAST OF THE HARVEST, (Exodus 23: 14-16).

It is a command by God to His people to bring an annual offering of first fruits to the house of God by doing so, Israel was dedicating the whole crop to the Lord, and the Lord was certifying that the rest would come. Give your best to God today, for you to continue enjoying the best of God's blessings

HAPPY HARVEST ANNIVERSARY, I wish you all many more in advance in Jesus Christ Name (Amen).

THERE IS HELP FOR YOU

TEXT: PSALM 124:1-8

Have you been surrounded with so many problems, that you are beginning to feel overwhelmed by them? Are you feeling so many people are against you and seek to hurt you? Are many actually seeking for your down fall and even thinking in their hearts that God can never help you?

There is good news for you! There is help for you. God is out to help you for He is a compassionate God. Like the Psalmist, declare that God is your Help and your only Hope.

In Christ, there is help for you. His eyes are upon you and He knows about your situation, do not be afraid, helps on the way for you. Just cry unto Him (Jeremiah 33:3) and do not allow the situation to rob you of sleep. If you do not have adequate sleep, your health will be affected. So do not let the devil cheat you.

When it is time for sleep, lie down and sleep, for the Lord will protect and keep you. Salvation belongs to Him and gives joy to His own. Let your faith be strengthened as you taste of His faithfulness. I pray for you in this new month, your benefactors will locate you, you will be highly favoured in Jesus name. "Amen".

DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE

Text: 1 John3:8

Everyone is born with a purpose. Many people have died without discovering their purpose. No purpose, no progress, no success, until you discover your purpose, life is without focus.

Jesus came for a purpose. What is your purpose? Is your life assignment the main reason why you are here? No one is here for nothing, but you must make a discovery of your purpose. Jesus came as an answer to the destroyer of purpose. Your purpose is the question for which you were created to answer.

Why are you here? Definitely not for sightseeing, obviously not just to add numbers to the human race. Discover your purpose today and recover your success from the wicked hand of failure.

The wisest man, after attaining success said, " Vanity of vanities, all is vanity". Eccl1:2. If you are successful without discovering your purpose, all is vanity, emptiness and chasing of the wind. If the wisest man could not find answers under heaven, then we must look to heaven for answers. Your purpose is laid in your natural abilities, interests, and those things that unlock your compassion.

When you discover your divine purpose, you will find success. As you are about to enter a new month in which Nigeria is commemorating the national independence, God, Almighty will set you free from all demonic activities in Jesus' Name. "Amen".
Discover your purpose today.

ENEMIES OF DESTINY

Text: John 15:1-17
Fruitfulness is not fun; every destiny is faced with an enemy. There is great joy in gaining the results God desires. Jesus taught that He chose and appointed us to be fruitful.

We must be more than faithful, we must be fruitful. We have great potential for a fruitful destiny, but there are setbacks.
Namely:-
1. Disconnection
(vs.1) If you stay connected, you will enjoy a fruitful destiny. Disconnection through sin leads to frustration and depressions.

2. Carelessness:-
Your heavenly father is vine dresser. Don't be careless with your life.

3. Overload:-
(vs.2) God removes anything that hinders our usefulness. Cast your burdens on him.

4. Travelling alone:-
(vs4) Do not live in isolation, be part and parcel of Church community.

5. Truce and breaking
(vs7) Don't break your covenant relationship with God.

6. Lack of purpose:-
(vs 8) He created you to glorify Him. Do everything with a sense of destiny.

7. Disobedience
(vs 10) Your obedience to His word supercedes your sacrifices.

Take heeds to these things stated above, it shall be well with you. Every enemy of your destiny is hereby destroyed in Jesus name (Amen).

Have a blessed week.

Watch your words

Text: Proverbs 13:1-6
Many of the things that have happened to us are as a result of the things we spoke forth. Your life can be preserved or destroyed by the words you speak ( Prov 13:3).

The words of a man can do great harm or good. Lying, cursing, backbiting, negative confession and all such evil speaking, are manifested through mouth. Similarly all forms of good speaking are done through the mouth.

What is your confession concerning your situation? You must be very positive concerning your life not denying the reality of the situation.

The words that came forth from our mouth can make the situation worse or better. It is therefore become important that we watch what we say. We can speak forth words that bring peace to a situation or words that bring violence. It is by the careful words you speak that can win in a situation while the evil minded would only want to fight.

I pray for you as from today that the words you speak will always bring peace, love and progress to your life and the lives of others. The words we speak show the state of our hearts for it is out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Enjoying your week with abundance of God's blessing in Jesus' name. Amen.

Defining Commission

TEXT: Matthew 28:19

A vision without a mission is mere hallucination. A mission without a commission is random activity. That will not be your story by the grace of God. "Amen".
